TEAK STEP 1 (T17) – Powerful alkaline degreasing cleaner for teak
Formulated and tested in Nautic Clean laboratories specifically for teak, TEAK STEP 1 is a highly effective degreasing cleaner for the restoration and regular maintenance of teak wood on boats, terraces, outdoor furniture and decks.
Its highly wetting and penetrating formula allows for the rapid removal and elimination of even the most stubborn dirt: black dust, dried mold, greasy stains, grease and marine fouling.
For perfect restoration , it is used in a two-component system with TEAK STEP 2 Degreaser (sold separately).

Instructions for use
Teak restoration:
- Dosage: 1 part TEAK STEP 1 to 3 parts water
- Spray or spread using a soft brush, rub in the direction of the fibers and leave for 10 minutes.
- Do not rinse
- Apply TEAK STEP 2 Teak Brightener immediately, spreading it with a clean brush. The teak will gradually be revived.
- Rinse thoroughly, scrubbing with a deck brush.
Routine maintenance: 20 ml in a bucket of water, rub then rinse with clean water.
CAUTION: Do not apply to aluminum. Do not allow TEAK STEP 2 to dry on teak. Wear protective clothing (gloves, goggles, boots, coveralls).
