Use:
For effective weather protection and to enhance the appearance of wood and wooden building elements outdoors. Application, in accordance with DIN EN 927-1, is carried out on wooden elements with limited or no structural or dimensional stability (e.g., timber-framed houses, formwork, timber framing, pergolas, etc.). After proper substrate preparation, the product can also be applied to mineral substrates and galvanized facade elements.

Designed as a one-can-for-two-coat system, this decorative and reliable surface protection for exterior wood elements with limited or no dimensional stability can be applied directly to bare wood without the need for a primer. One coat is sufficient for renovation projects.

Cetol Wetterschutzfarbe Extra is composed of several different binders: one ensures robust surfaces and high weather resistance, while another promotes excellent elastic properties – even in thin layers. Fluctuations in temperature and alternating periods of dryness and humidity cause wood to swell and shrink. Cetol Wetterschutzfarbe Extra adapts to these movements to prevent the coating from cracking.

The satin sheen of Cetol Wetterschutzfarbe Extra conceals typical wood imperfections caused by weathering. The new Cetol Wetterschutzfarbe Extra perfectly solves all problems, even in challenging cases: it prevents substances within the wood from penetrating the coating and reduces discoloration around knots. Furthermore, the surface is highly resistant to chalking, thus ensuring excellent color stability.

And thanks to Stay Clean technology, dirt doesn't stick to the surface and rinses away easily. The surface therefore stays beautiful for a long time.
