Easy care and protection for all oiled wood furniture and floors. For glossy surfaces: water-repellent and stain-resistant, breathable and antistatic.
Application
On pre-oiled wood or cork, apply a thin, even coat with a lint-free cloth or sponge. Buff after approximately 10 minutes. Repeat treatment after 24 hours; final hardness is achieved after three days.
Advice
Do not use microfiber or active fibers. For application on floors, dilute 1:1 with water and use a clear polishing pad to buff.
Oiled and/or waxed surfaces:
Natural oils and waxes give your wood surfaces a beautiful sheen and accentuate the unique grain and structure of the wood. The surfaces are resistant to both dirt and water and have anti-static properties. Unlike lacquered surfaces, these treated materials remain breathable, thus contributing to a more comfortable indoor climate.
Depending on the stress placed on oiled or waxed surfaces, mechanical wear occurs in areas of direct contact. This is particularly noticeable on high-traffic surfaces such as floors, countertops, and tables. In addition to the altered appearance, wear leads to reduced resistance to liquids and dirt. Stains from colored substances, such as red wine, coffee, or mustard, then appear, penetrating the wood and becoming permanently embedded in the fibers. For this reason, it is essential to address wear promptly by refreshing the oil or wax coating periodically.
