Fast-drying, glossy gold bronzes based on coumarone resin for decorative interior coatings; limited resistance to rubbing.
Base binder: Bronze dye (neutral coumarone resin)
Pigments: Bronze leafing powder (copper-zinc alloy)
Properties:
- gives layers of golden bronze with an elegant "mirror" finish and a high gloss effect
- Not weather-resistant; the bronze strips become dark and dull due to oxidation when exposed to inclement weather.
- Heat resistance up to approximately 100°C; at higher temperatures, the gold bronze layers begin to discolor.
- limited resistance to friction (resistance to friction and weathering can be improved by coating with RUCO protective varnish for metals (only with a spray gun) or a colorless, water-dilutable furniture varnish.
