Ironique is a water-based system consisting of a base coat ( Ironique Fondo ) and an oxidizing topcoat ( Ironique Liquido Antichizzato ). Novacolor's Ironique system produces an oxidizing effect that closely resembles the effect of an iron surface exposed to natural corrosion . With its polymer-based decorative system , it is possible to achieve different oxidation effects , taking into account the various application procedures of clients . Ironique can be used on new plaster-based surfaces, mortars, pre- existing synthetic and mineral paints , and previously prepared gypsum.
