Application

On pre-oiled wood or cork, apply with a lint-free cloth or sponge in a thin, even coat. Polish after approx. 10 minutes. Further processing after 24 hours, final hardness is reached after three days.

Advice

Do not use microfiber or active fibers. For application to floors, dilute 1:1 with water and use a clear buffing pad to buff.

Oiled and/or waxed surfaces:

Natural oils and waxes give shine to your wooden surfaces and accentuate the specific grain and structure of the wood used. The surfaces are resistant to dirt as well as water and have an anti-static power. Unlike lacquered surfaces, substrates treated in this way remain breathable and thus contribute to the regulation of the ambient climate.

Depending on the stress on the oiled or waxed surfaces, mechanical wear takes place in the direct contact areas. This is particularly noticeable on heavily used surfaces such as floors, worktops and tables. Besides the altered optical effect, wear leads to reduced resistance to liquids and dirt. We then see stains appear, coming from colored substances, such as red wine, coffee or mustard, which penetrate the wood and become permanently embedded in the fibres. For this reason, it is essential to ward off the onset of wear in time, refreshing the layer of oil or wax from time to time.
