Slow maturing natural mineral lime, for indoor and outdoor use.

Lime has cleansing properties, it regulates hydrometry and humidity, protects the walls while letting them breathe.

The traditional supports of lime painting are mineral supports: stone, terracotta brick, lime plasters, old lime paint and cement plaster. On plaster, chalking and detachment are very frequent. Paints: organic, synthetic, acrylic, wood, contemporary materials (PVC…), synthetic plasters, plasters and plasterboards are not suitable as a support for traditional lime paint.

Preparation of the support : The support must be clean, without powdery or floury part. Brush, dust and wash, treat floury surfaces with "Acrylan" fixative diluted between 400 and 500%. The coating of the support must have finished its setting (min. 4 weeks drying time). Otherwise, free lime can migrate to the surface and form unsightly blooms.
