Prime Coat FZ 2K is a zinc phosphate epoxy primer designed to provide excellent anti-corrosive protection and exceptional versatility. This high-performance product is suitable for a wide range of substrates and applications, meeting the needs of the industrial, urban and marine sectors.

Main features:

• Excellent adhesion to steel, galvanized surfaces, aluminum, light alloys, fiberglass, gelcoat and cement conglomerate.
• Optimal anti-corrosion protection thanks to the presence of zinc phosphate.
• High covering power and easy application, including on vertical surfaces or sharp edges.
• Homogeneous expansion , providing a smooth and aesthetic finish.
• Excellent sandability and optimal absorption of finishing lacquers, even in case of overspray.
• Exceptional thermal tolerance : withstands temperatures from -20°C to +70°C without loss of adhesion or flexibility.
• Compatible with powder paints and compliant with VOC standard 2004/42/EC (Decopaint Directive).

Applications:

• Ideal as a first coat for high quality cycles on industrial vehicles, agricultural machinery, earthmoving equipment and metal structures.
• Also suitable for complex frames and geometries used in urban, industrial or maritime environments.
• Tested and compliant with European Standard 2014/90/EU relating to Maritime Equipment (Item MED/3.18B).
